Kid-friendly Summer Drink Recipes

I was just thinking the other day, by the pool -- how HORRIBLY hot it was. Although I don't have any kids - many of my friends do. I wanted to come up with some EASY, QUICK & REFRESHING kid friendly drink recipes . Something your kids could enjoy on a HOT summer day, with little prep ....

    - LEMONADE ( a classic )

1 cup lemon juice

4 cups chilled water

1 cup sugar

A pinch of salt

    - ORANGE ESCAPADE

1 cup OJ

1 cup vanilla yogurt

1/2 cup honey

Crushed Ice

     - A GOOD OL' PUNCH

2 quarts Hawaiian punch

2 quarts cranberry juice cocktail

2 quarts cherry soda

1 pint strawberry sherbet (softened)

Event Design Tip: Cabanas!

I absolutely love CABANAS!  I love how they can emphasize something special and place all the focus on certain areas.  I also love the sense of intimacy and romance that they can create.  They definitely have a WOW factor and can be used in any type of event.  The cabana itself is a wonderful addition to any party, but can also be decorated to match the theme of the event, for an extra special feel.  Below are some of my favorite Cabana photos.  Most were collected from
